A Concert for Marriage Equality benefit originally scheduled to take place at The Beacon Theatre on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 has now been cancelled. We are not able to guarantee that the 'Freedom To Love Now!' will be restaged within a year. With respect to any ticket purchases we are issuing full refunds at this time.

Tickets ordered for this performance through Ticketmaster Phones or Ticketmaster Online will be automatically credited to the original purchaser’s credit card account. Tickets purchased through a Ticketmaster Outlet or through The Beacon Theatre Box Office must be returned to the original point of purchase for a refund.

Thomas Bartlett (aka Doveman) is a Vermont-born pianist and singer. As the Music Director and Curator for Freedom To Love Now!, Bartlett is responsible for making the stars align, getting the revered talent involved, and shaping the creative vision of this project. Known for his Burgundy Sessions, he has collaborated with countless marquee artists, and toured with Antony and the Johnsons, Martha Wainwright, and Bebel Gilberto among others.

Rufus Wainwright

Rufus Wainwright is an American-Canadian singer-songwriter extraordinaire. The New York City Opera hailed him as the “most important songwriter of his generation.” As an icon of New York City, Wainwright has cultivated a fervent following for both his music and activism. His album, Rufus Does Judy at Carnegie Hall, was nominated for a 2009 Grammy Award. Earlier this year, he premiered his first opera Prima Donna at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
